Kelton Mill

According to a recent publication* there were three mills in Ennerdale, one at Moorend, a fullers mill probably at bleach green, near the lake, and a mill operated by Anthony Patricson the location of which is a complete mystery. Kelton mill (or Stockhow mill), the research attached would seem to shed light on this mystery.

All that is left of the mill would appear to be part of the building which constitutes part of the perimeter wall a straight piece on the 'beck' that would have been part of the mill race and three mill stones one of which has been used as part of the gate post
